Delicious Vegetarian Offerings at Hard Rock Cafe

Hard Rock is launching new offerings from its limited-time vegetarian menu, just in time for Vegetarian Awareness Month for the third year in a row. Beginning Monday, 2 October through Thursday, 12 November 2017, Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur will expand its legendary menu to serve up fresh and new vegetarian-friendly dishes and plant-based beverages. Items new to the menu include tangy Sweet Potato and Black Bean Tacos featuring spicy black beans and guacamole, Quinoa and Arugula Salad and a spicy Grilled Hummus Quesadilla.

Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur has added new meatless menu items that encompass the flavours of classic, all-American cuisine. Additionally, many of the offerings featured on Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur meatless menu can be prepared to accommodate vegan dietary requirements. A full list of the vegetarian menu includes:

Quinoa and Arugula Salad (NEW) – a fresh mix pico de gallo, quinoa, lime juice and chopped cilantro mix with arugula and topped with shredded brussels sprouts, spicy pecans, feta cheese and craisins tossed in a citrus vinaigrette.

Grilled Hummus Quesadilla (NEW) – a spiced, grilled flour tortilla filled with garlic herb hummus, sautéed spinach, sun dried tomatoes and black olives. Served with sriracha chili sauce and a side salad.

Sweet Potato and Black Bean Tacos (NEW) – corn tortillas filled with spicy black beans with roasted sweet potatoes, guacamole, shredded cabbage and chili sauce. Served with a side salad.

Grilled Ratatouille Wrap – grilled eggplant and assorted vegetables with sriracha mayonnaise, olive oil and baby arugula in a seasoned grilled flour tortilla. Served with a side salad.

Spinach, Potato & Chickpea Burger – a house-made patty of red skin potatoes, spinach, chili peppers, cilantro, chickpeas and spices, topped with arugula, tomato, cucumber and a spiced yogurt sauce. Served on a toasted bun with French fries.

The new menu items celebrate Vegetarian Awareness Month, which was designed to spread awareness of vegetarianism and the benefits of a meat-free diet. The International Vegetarian Union encourages individuals worldwide to spread the word and experience the vegetarian lifestyle. What began as World Vegetarian Day has blossomed into a month-long celebration that involves educational events and festivities.
