Happy teacher’s day

I am not so sure if I should thank my teachers for what I am today. I may sound ungrateful, but then again, most of my teachers made my childhood life a living hell as I was different as I followed my father to transfer more than I could count. Not many of my teachers guide me when I had hard time fitting in, so, I could not remember who I could actually thank for teaching me. They’re nothing but forgotten past and blurry images that I could not make out what or who they are. And I don’t even remember their names.

All my life, I have only TWO favourite teachers. One of them is my best friend’s mother who happened to work at the school that I went, and another one is my Form 3 and 4 English teacher who taught me a lot about literature and encouraged me to be myself.

These two teachers are the only one in my heart as they never did try to change who I am, but encourage me to be me. I was a really rebellious and outspoken child, and not many like who I was, and still am. The two teachers I mentioned  wanted the GENUINE me while others tries to persuade me to be who I am not, and only sees my flaws instead of strength. And so,my good wishes goes to Pn. Leong (Pauline’s mummy) and Pn. Lim Saw Nee.

And Pn. Leong, if you’re reading this… LOL… I MISS YOUR CHOCOLATE CAKEEEEEE can I go raid your house this coming Xmas?

ps: This is Liz, by the way. LOL… and Pauline, if you’re reading this, tell your mum I miss her cooking, okay? LMAO…and of course, I miss her too! Darn it, I lost her number. đŸ˜›

Cleffairy: Life itself is a great teacher. It taught us a lot of things. And I am a product of my own time and environment.
