I’M POSSIBLE

Very short entry, cuz I have just witnessed something I thought impossible and unbelievable. I was at my regular food court when Malaysia won its first AFF Suzuki Cup (Formerly known as the Tiger Cup) on 29th Dec 2010 by beating Indonesia with an aggregate score of 4-2 for the first and second legs of the Southeast Asian championships final.

In the final’s second leg, held in Jakarta’s Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Indonesia beat Malaysia 2-1 but the the score was not enough to overcome Indonesia’s 3-0 defeat to Malaysia in the first leg at the national stadium in Kuala Lumpur last Wednesday.

Malaysia’s Mohammad Safee was also proclaimed top scorer. Gosh, how cool is that! What a way to end the year. Congratulations to the Malaysian footballers.

BREAKING NEWS: 31st Dec 2010 has been declared public holiday to celebrate the winning of the Suzuki Cup.

Cleffairy: Did you know that in the word IMPOSSIBLE, there’s I’M POSSIBLE in it?

I was there watching that night when I was having dinner with my family… so I thought I might as well post it. No… not quite a football follower… I’m more an F1 racing material…never missed a F1 race. LOL.

I suppose you can say that…but what I really admired about F1 racing is not quite the luxury, but the physics of the car that’s created to be so aerodynamic… and also the driver’s skill. It’s all the science of it. I’m also into horseback riding, bowling, archery and also swimming. Those are sports that I do regularly.

Golf? No way I’d play golf… I dun yacht, but I do swim alot. And ur wrong about me being rich… lol… far from that. I grew up on the beach… from where I came from…evening stroll on the beach with a horse owned by an old uncle is a norm and free. LOL. And as for archery… it’s a sport near the beach… just like flying kites! But now in KL… I rarely go into the shooting range. I prefer to swim instead.

ps: Horseback riding is not expensive. You can ride horses in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa for Rm1.50 per ride on Sat and Sat.

The last time when Penang State declared public holiday I was flashed a ‘yellow card’ *warning* to explain why I did not report for work. Sometimes this could create some confusion as certain companies do have their selected holidays and any other public holidays declared are not counted. My bozz #2 sarcastically said if you love PH so much go work in the gomen office coz we are private company. Not sure about now when PH is declared cuti saja lah no need to check with HR. Not all would love PH especially those in sales when its so crucial to rope in the last buck the deadline went dead by 5pm today and missed the promotion, incentive, target etc. Some nice companies may relax the rules and accept backdates for submission latest on Jan032011.
