‘Legendary Playboy Surgeon’ by Patricia Thayer by is as delicious as the cover, I must say. I’m not always a fan of Harlequin Medical romance line of novels. They’re mostly tearjerker. Thank God this one is not. With all the things that’s going on in my life right at the moment, I could use something lighthearted and heartwarming, and this book is just it. It’s also flirty, and not to mention witty and funny. I’d highly recommend this book to those who are looking for a little escapism with a taste of reality and playfulness in it.
I’d safely rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. I thought the title does not exactly do justice to the book. It should be something more witty rather than just scream for fangirls who would drool for hot, sexy alpha male. I received an ARC of this book from Harlequin Publisher via Netgalley. I was not compensated in any ways for writing this review.
