When it comes to the chapter on ‘Spirit to Serve Our Communities’, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur has a quarterly agenda for the underprivileged.
With Deepavali just over and on Halloween’s Day, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel put together a special evening filled with good food, movies and fun games just for the children
from Stepping Stones Living Centre recently.
Stepping Stones Living Centre is a fully residential center providing basic facilities for underprivileged children, distressed widows/single mothers and abandoned senior citizens. Located in Taman Seputeh, the center was set-up by Pastor Johnson Rajahser.
On hand to welcome and entertain the children and their chaperones were a generous
group of hotel Ambassadors led by Director of Marketing Communications & Public Relations Song Mei Lan and the hotel’s Women In Leadership champion Geline Cheng who took time out from their busy schedules to entertain these VIP guests. These Ambassadors
together with the hotel’s female leaders contributed grocery and household items towards the well-being of the center.
Fun filled event with the children
The event was organized in line with the hotel’s “Spirit To Serve” program which has been the philosophy of Marriott International for more than 80 years. It inspires the hotel staff to be good corporate citizens and be proud of the companies they work for and the
communities they live in. Marriott International has a proud tradition of supporting the cities, towns and neighborhoods around the globe.
