Anchor Food Professionals, the foodservice arm of Fonterra Brands Malaysia has launched their Travel Cake ahead of the upcoming festive season.
The Anchor Travel Cake series are quintessential butter load cakes made using Anchor Tinned Butter and is inspired by France’s “gateaux de voyage”, delicious specialty cakes made with high quality butter brought on a journey from one place to another by travellers.
The Anchor Travel Cakes were created by Anchor Food Professionals Pastry Chefs by using Anchor Tinned Butter. The butter is ideal for travel cakes as it is made from pure and natural dairy from grass-fed cows in New Zealand. Anchor Tinned Butter is perfect for baked goods as it is not only aromatic but has a soft and smooth texture.
There are 3 variants of the Anchor Travel Cake; Chocolate Prune Travel Cake, Earl Grey Apricot Travel Cake and Cranberry Travel Cake.
Chocolate Prune Travel Cake; a mixture of pitted prune, apricots and dark chocolate chunks encased in a moist and buttery cake.
Earl Grey Apricot Travel Cake; Earl Grey tea infused apricot in fragrant Earl Gret tea butter cake.
Cranberry Travel Cake; plump and juicy cranberries soaked in orange juice in a buttery orange scented cake.

The Anchor Travel Cakes will vary in presentation, size and packaging based on each bakery’s unique customer’s preference.
