I am a bit of a bookworm and if you really want to impress me, one way to go about it is through books. Being a head librarian when I was in school, I used to practically live in the library. Sadly enough, I stopped going to the library once my son was born more than a decade back. Why? Well, the library near home wasn’t exactly children friendly and I have been having such an impression since then.

But I recently had the opportunity to visit Raja Tun Uda Library (PPAS).
Unlike the community library near home, this library is well-equipped
with user-friendly infrastructure for the convenience and convenience of library visitors.

The library is a heaven for bookworms like me. They have aisle of books plenty of both new and classic titles from various genres.

Comfy discussion area aplenty over here.

Internet facilities are free of charge, so visitors can just head over and use them.

Interactive area for both adults and children.

3D Cinema showing plenty of educational movies is available at minimal charge.

6D theatre experience is a must try if you visit this library.

Training rooms spotted. The rooms are used to conduct all sorts of classes daily.

Visiting the library is definitely an eye opening experience. There’s more to this library than just books. The infrastructures are designed to enrich and empower those who frequent the place and it’s definitely something I wouldn’t mind visiting everyday.

Membership is free for all Malaysians.

Separate charges apply for:

Gymnasium:Walk-in (RM5.00 for 3 hours), Member (RM25.00 one-time registration fee), thereafter RM50.00 monthly.

Personal Trainer: RM35.00/hour

Virtual Reality: RM10.00 per pax (10 minutes). First session: 10.30am. Second session: 2.30pm (not available on public holidays)

3D Theater: RM7.00 per pax. First session: 10.30am. Second session: 2.30pm (not available on public holidays)

6D Theater: RM10.00 per pax. (not available on public holidays)
