Are you a huge fan of desserts? My son is a huge fan of desserts, especially cakes, ice cream and waffles. Problems? Yes. He’s quite picky and will never go for those watered down versions of desserts. Lucky us, there is one place in The Gardens Mall that is offering great selection of waffles with customizable toppings of your choice; Madame Waffle.

Serving the liege waffle; Madame Waffle comes with the selection of 2 choices of waffle to go with- The Original or the Matcha which is one of the signatures.

Then, you can have a choice to topped with the choices of galeto from their signature Earl Grey, White Chocolate Lavender, Black Sesame, Matcha, Salted Caramel, Vanilla to Chocolate.

Price:
2 scoops of ice cream: RM 18.90
3 scoops of ice cream: RM 23.00.

There is also standard topping option which is at RM 1.50 per topping. They have the fresh assorted fruits, azuki red beans, honey cornflakes, roasted almonds, and torched marshmallows. If you are looking for some unique toppings,you can try their Ferero Rocher, Shiratama Dango, Lavender Konyaku, Watermelon Konyaku, Aloe Vera and White Chocolate Feuilletine instead of the usual one.

Here’s what my son and I shared; Original Flavoured Waffle topped with White Chocolate Ice Cream and Fererro Rocher chocolates, marshmallows along with some fresh blueberries and fresh strawberries. It was indeed a divine creation meant for dessert lovers. The waffles was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Unlike those usual watered down version of waffles, this one is decadently rich, sweet and flavourful. The ice cream and the toppings on the other hand, complemented the waffles very well.

Madame Waffle also serves assorted coffees, green tea and non-caffeinated beverages. I’m a fan of cold drinks but I couldn’t resist ordering this cup of Belgium Hot Chocolate to polish off the waffles with and I must say that it tasted like heaven in your mouth. It’s a no nonsense kind if hot chocolate. Tasted so smooth and rich that I had to refrain from ordering another cup.

Being a kioks, Madame Waffle also offers the concept of takeaway and eat on the go where you can opt to takeaway the waffles of your choice and eat on the go instead of dining in at their little kioks, so my son and I got these for ourselves. Matcha flavoured waffles. Fuss free and had this on it’s own and it was good even on it’s own. 🙂
