I’m sure all of you have heard the news where Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced a 20 sen increase for RON95 and diesel last night, effective as of 3rd September 2013. According to the Prime Minister, this is one of the measures to rationalize subsidies by the government.
Well, I have no idea how the price increase will help the citizens or even boost our already downhill economy, but I thought you folks might be interested in the BEFORE and AFTER table chart for full tank of fuel of certain cars.
Cleffairy: Not really looking forward to the price increase of goods that will surely come after this. 🙁
My old Wira not listed? I guess it’s in the same class at the Saga, RM8… Have to walk more now – like to the mini-supermarket round the corner some 200-300 metres away. Used to drive…so better walk, and if lazy, no need to go! I would hop over to get my cancer sticks usually anyway – so can kill many birds with one stone. Always look on the bright side… Hehehehehe!!!!
This is an interesting table of comparison. I have long expected this increase and I bet next week will be tobacco increase. After that, petrol will increase again and so forth. I applaud all those who voted them to lead us.
usually, my car full tanked cost around RM80 – RM 85. Now, i guess over RM 90. Sad 🙁
I think my expenses will increase another 30rm to 50rm per month on daily traveling… oh well… apa nak buat…
Thanks for the table, pretty interesting although it’d be great to be able to see the extra cost for some of the smaller Euro cars.

Thank you for the table. Ya, scared to see how prices of things will increase now.
