Okay, I’ve been waiting for Breaking Dawn Part 1 to come out and now that it has, I couldn’t help myself but watch it.
The movie starts off with the wedding of Edward and Bella and I thought it was rather emotionless and the wedding speech made by their family and friends were rather boring and corny. I thought the first 15 minutes was almost intolerable. Quite a disappointment, and not really up to par with the book. Sure, there’s a few memorable romantic lines here and there, but I seriously thought that the actor and actresses ought to put more emotion in their acting.
Everyone, especially Bella was appropriately vampire-rized in my opinion. All of them looks like they could used some good night sleep and a few jug of isotonic drinks. Actor and actresses appearance wasn’t quite up to my standard, cuz they all look either not enough sleep or tired, and the characters in Breaking Dawn are not supposed to look like that. They are supposed to look energetic and powerful.
The saving grace of this movie is of course the honeymoon scene in Isle of Esme and the brief romance between Edward and Bella before trouble starts to knock on their door; accidental, unplanned pregnancy. Bella got pregnant and the pregnancy was something that seems to come out of a horror movie, considering that the child she was carrying was not a human.The unborn child was considered as a threat to both vampires and werewolves and it gets messy from there.
Overall, Breaking Dawn is an okay movie to watch if you like drama and some action. Personally, I think it’s not great… but an okay watch. And I would prefer it even more if there’s better soundtrack for it.
Cleffairy: I suppose I’ll always be the type of person who prefers novels over it’s movie adaptations.

Ic… finally Bella married to Edward, I had stopped at the 1st half of the book. Can Vampire give birth?! I tot warlorks like vampire can’t hv children?(also learn frm the novels I read).
Eh? Yes… she’s married to him in Breaking Dawn and became vampire herself. *spoiler, spoiler.* waakakakakaka! Can give birth la… the author say can give birth ma… so can have baby lo. LOLOLOLOL!
The Edward in the movie not looking good la…. not going to watch it as I don’t want to spoil the so call “good looking” Edward. Hehehe.
Btw Alice, it’s just fiction….the author can write whatever they want. LOL! Anyway, the last book, Breaking Dawn is the best of the 4 books. 🙂
*sigh* Wud to do… they chose Robert Pattinson to be Edward…haihh… I would prefer Zac Efron more to this guy, but then again… I just watch for fun. 😛
I SO SO SO SO SO SO WANT TO WATCH! BEEN WAITING SINCE THE LAST MOVIE! hehe… but dang, gua tengah confinement ni… entah bila gua kautim still showing kat cinema tak… aiyoooooooo!
Aiyooo… dun nid to go cinema la… just watch online like me. See… I damn pandai wan, just watch online, siap mau download lagi. LOL!
