Fancy dining in the clouds? Well, here’s one place you might want to try; High Line. It’s the latest foodie attraction in Resorts World Genting for those who fancies casual alfresco dining with a stunning mountain view.
Located on the 4th floor in SkyAvenue at Resorts World Genting, High Line features dining venue, night entertainment hub and alfresco area all in one place. There are seven different food stalls gathering in one area, Carnivore Corner, Jon Bing, Seafood Market, Asian Heroes and Burgers & Shots where guests can mix and match the F&B options at the communal dining area.
I had a preview of High Line’s Nasi Lemak Lobster during the showcasing of gourmet food at Taste MIGF 2018 a couple of months back and I thought their signature Nasi Lemak Lobster was splendid. Since then, I have been anticipating High Line’s opening in Resorts World Genting with great interest.
And now that High Line finally debuted and opens it’s door to the public in Resorts World Genting I once again had the pleasure to sample more of Chef Muhamad Muhader and crew’s delicious food.
Here’s sharing with you some of the delicious stuff I had during my most recent visit to High Line:
Some of the must try from the seafood section is their Seafood in a Pail. I especially like the creamy butter flavour version of the Seafood in a Pail. It’s rich with cream without being cloying. It also enhanced the natural sweetness of the already fresh seafood.
Seafood in a Pail- Kam Heong flavour is for those who fancies spicy food. Unlike the butter cream version, this one will instantly perk up your tastebuds at first taste with it’s intense spiciness.
Among the “must try” dishes at High Line is the “Man vs Meat”. This huge platter consists of three types of meat dishes – Lamb Chop, Smoked Beef Brisket and Smoked Pulled Lamb served with sweet grilled corn. The price is just RM88 for one tray.
Grilled Sausage with Lamb Merquez. Lamb sausage served on a pretzel bun may look like your ordinary sausage buns or hotdogs, but there’s nothing ordinary about this one. The Grilled Sausage with Lamb Merquez is satisfyingly meaty and were bursting with flavours. The slightly chewy buns provided an interesting experience as well.
Peking Bing and Seafood Bing. These are crispy Shanghainese egg roll crepes served in paper cones which is filled generously with minced chicken and saucy seafood respectively. The savoury egg roll crepes are great for snacking, especially over a cup of hot tea or a glass of iced soda. These are sold as a takeaway food as well and therefore, the ‘bing’ makes a great grab and go meal if you’re in a rush somewhere.
Overall dining experience in High Line is beyond my expectations. Definitely will arrange a revisit soon to try out other items that thet have on their menu.
