Have you heard about the blockchain technology? Yes? No? Well, for those who are not familar with the term, blockchain is a digitized, decentralized, public ledger of all cryptocurrency transactions (Eg: Cryptocurrency as in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, etc). The blockchain technology allows trading participants to keep track of the digital currency transactions without central recordkeeping.

According to Mr.Ivan Ku, Ledgit is stepping up to the game and is currently providing a blockchain platform that offers transparent provenance solutions for authentication and legacy heritage solutions with the integration of Smart Application Platform, Smart Contracts & Smart Reward System.

Ledgit functions and features two crucial aspects; Supply Chain and Cultural Heritage. The Blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS) will be offering better solutions for business and consumers in a secure way while aknowledging the importance of traditional culture and values.

Those who are running their own business(es) will be pleased to discover that the Provenence Blockchain that Ledgit is offering will allow suppliers, retailers, distributors and consumers to make their products and provenence not only more transparent, but much easier to trace and trustworthy with the integration between the blockchain technology ‘Smart Contract’ and a ‘Smart Application Platform’.

Apart from the Provenence Blockchain, Ledgit is also offering Legacy Heritage feature where it offers the users a more transparent knowledge and insight to their lineage as it allows users to record all the important data that they want to pass down from one generation to the next by integrating the Smart Application Platform. The data will be well preserved throughout the generations without the risk of it being destroyed throughout the years.

When asked about the security concerns of these data, Mr.Ivan Ku assured the users that unlike the conventional method of data storage and authentications, blockchain offers an unbreakable security system as each node (a computer connected to the network) gets a copy of the blockchain, which is downloaded automatically, making it almost impossible to be penetrated and compromised and it is currently most secure way to store data in the world.

Ledgit is scheduled to be participating in the Google Cloud Next ’18 event in San Francisco soon and when asked about the future direction of the company, Mr.Ivan Ku said Ledgit is highly passionate in utilising the blockchain technology to create better solutions for businesses and consumers while acknowledging the importance of traditional cultures and will put continuos efforts in making technology a lifelong human companion in the long run and is committed to make a breakthough on blockchain technology, especially in South East Asia.
