My friend asked me last week how much it cost me when I go for horseback riding in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, KL. She assumed that I’m one hell of a spoiled rich girl as only the rich could afford having horseback riding as a hobby.
But she’s wrong. Horseback riding is affordable. Even your regular Starbucks Fruppocino cost more than a couple of rounds of horseback riding.
Here’s the proof of how affordable it is…
For those who doesn’t understand the Malaysian language, here’s the pricing:
Horseback riding
Children: RM1.00 per round
Adult: RM1.50 per round
Carriage rides
Children: RM 0.50 per round
Adult: RM 1.00 per round
Business hours:
Sat, Sun and Public Holidays
Morning session: 9am-12pm
Evening session: 3pm-6pm
School semester break
Morning session: 9am-12pm
Evening session: 3pm-6pm
And below is the pictures of the horseback riding facility
The entrance to the horseback riding facility in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (Lake Garden)
The stable housing the horses, ponies and mares.
The wide range for riding purposes. God, I love this range, cuz I can ride like the wind over here. It really liberates me when I ride my favourite horse over here in Taman Tsik Titiwangsa.
I used to go for horseback riding every week a couple of years ago. But now, I only go for it every fortnight. I still can’t get enough it it, though.
Why don’t you folks try horseback riding instead of the boring old movies in the cinema for a change? It’ll be a great experience, I promise you.
Cleffairy: Don’t worry, if you’re a first timer or a beginner, there’s a trainer to walk the horse with you.
Gallop, gallop?? i dont know how to say “whoa” to the horse la.. nanti it cannot stop… hahaa..
LOL… I used to worry about that too, Claire… but there’s no need to worry, cuz the horses are well trained…they bring you ride on them one round, then they will automatically stop. Very clever wan.
gosh…if horseback riding is that cheap in KK (here it cost about RM100 onwards), I would taken it up as my weekly activity and put paintball behind! LOL~~~~ anyway, thanks for sharing…will drag my bf to bring me there the next time I’m going there! =)
LOL… alot people thought it’s expensive lerr…but over here in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, it’s cheap… well, consider cheap la… after all, our kopi o ais or teh o ais that we drink at mamak oso cost more than one round of a horse ride.
eh cool leh, din know so afforable wan. mine got to try horse riding over at my co’s family day last year, she seems to like it.. 🙂 thanks for this post, at least i know where now.. hehe!
Hah! Ur Lil Missy so brave… my boy wouldn’t want to ride. 🙁 Scaredy cat! Cis!

Wow.. it cost so cheap.. No wonder my online singaporean friend went JB to do her horse riding. A pony ride in our zoo cost SGD10 for a round…
Yup…. it’s cheap… and if you convert to SGD, it’s even cheaper… 😀
Eh Auntie Bird, the price not for pony ar? Nanti my legs also can reach the ground leh! Horse ride me, not I ride horse liao! ha ha ha
No.. of course not… the price is for adult horses that has been ‘broken in’. So it’s really safe to ride those horses. They have a lot of horses there…and different horses will be assigned to adults and children.
