I’ve been feeling under the weather these few days, and I have no mood to do anything apart from curling up with a few good book. Got to take advantage of the rainy weather. It gives me the mood for fiction. A dark fiction, that is. Initially I wanted to write about something else, but since what I had in mind is rather depressing, I think I’d spare you folks from my whiny, intolerable complaints a while longer and share with you what I’ve read today, since it’s Wednesday- my book review day.
All right, folks, if you’re into paranormal, good girl likes bad guy fiction, then this book is for you. It’s about a normal teen girl and a fallen angel.
Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick if a very intriguing story. For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She’s never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.
But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora’s not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can’t decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen – and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.
CHECK OUT THE BOOK TRAILER
My say: Very thrilling and exciting read with some psychological queries thrown in. Teenagers and young adult probably will love this to bits.
Tempted to read this? Well, email me for a ..pdf browsing copy of it or leave your comment here.
Cleffairy: Hush Hush reminds me abit of my own book, Royal Masquerade. Fallen angels, devils and stuff. But of course, my main character Narcissus does not exactly revel in tormenting his love interest the way Patch did.

I can only say book trailer is the way to go to attract those not keen on having their fingers on hard prints – maybe in the future if there’s a book that reads aloud the contents with those special sound effect – making the book paperless & sounds ideal for those who’s lazy to turn btw the pages
*faint* MRC… there is such book… there’s audio book… in mp3 form where the book will be read aloud for you, along with those sound effects and stuff. Most books these days have audio version…
