I checked my mailbox yesterday, and this came in…
It’s a bookmark, from Mommyling’s blog giveaway. 😀 It not only cheered me up and brightens my day and night, but it also made me laugh like some madwoman the moment I laid my eyes on it.
Do you know why?
Because the bookmark that Mommyling chose for me, really represent me. My real name is Elizabeth, and just look at the girl on the bookmark. She’s holding a ladybird in her hand.
Okay… maybe I’m not making sense, but you might want to know that little birds and ladybirds are closely related to me.
Smallkucing, calls me either Little Bird, or Ladybird. (Smallkucing couldn’t pronounce my name, and therefore, instead of calling me Auntie Elizabeth, he calls me Auntie Little Bird or Auntie Ladybird when he sees me instead)
Mommyling knows this too. LOL… I daresay she chose this bookmark cuz of the Little Bird joke. Anyway… this makes me feel special, cuz Mommyling kept me in her thoughts… enough for her to remember my little nickname given by Smallkucing and his Mamarazzi. 😀
Thank you Ling, for keeping in my thoughts and spending time to choose this cute bookmark for me. Initially I wanted to give it to a friend of mine, but since this one is very special… I’ll make sure it goes into one of my books instead. I’ll use it and keep it safe. Thank you very much. 😀

Hmm… I’m quite a bookworm, and so I read quite a lot of genre. But if you ask me to pick some of my favourite genre, I would say historical and romance tops the list. I go for mystery and thriller occasionally too, depending on my mood.
