A pencil is just a small tool. But like all tools, it can be very powerful. Do you know what a pencil can really do?
- In the hands of artists, our minds are exposed to beauty.
- In hands of inventors, our lives have been improved.
- In the hands of writers, our souls are lifted to greater heights.
Now, can you imagine if we give a child a pencil and see what he can do?
The HWH Pencil Project is a digital signature campaign through the combined efforts of Dynamic Teen Company (DTC) and Hotelwithheart.com (HWH). The aim of this campaign is to raise 10,000 pencils to support DTC’s “Kariton Klasrum Project”. Through this endeavor, children in the slum areas will get a decent supply of pencils to help them learn the basics of writing, reading and arithmetic.
So what can you do to help these children?  They only need your signatures. For each signature they will donate 1 pencil to Dynamic Teen Company.  If you wish to support this cause please do visit their Facebook page HERE.  The campaign has started since 1st June 2011 – 30th June 2011, but they extended it until 15th July 2011.
