Feeling tired and need some pampering “ME” time? Well, get a good rub at The RUB Bar.

Located just beside Red by Sirocco hotel in Kuala Lumpur, The RUB Bar offers massaging services that will melt your stress away.

The RUB Bar (a word play on ‘raba’ which translates to ‘to rub’ in English) was recently opened to both Malaysians and tourists at RED by Sirocco Kuala Lumpur. The spa offers premium quality services and products at a really reasonable prices.

There are complimentary refreshments and light snacks for you to enjoy while you wait for the therapist to attend to you.

The RUB Bar has its own natural wellness products such as aromatherapy oils for detoxification, muscle relief and relaxing.

Checking out the Fun Soap section at The RUB Bar. These are among their bestsellers and customers’ all time favourite. From afar, I mistook them for sliced cakes. They look delicious enough to eat.

You may also customise your own ‘The Rub Bar Body Scrub’ or lotion to your own liking.

But as much as I like the soaps and stuff, what I was really there for is their massage. With more than 10 treatment areas for guests to enjoy some private “ME” time, The RUB Bar is a sanctuary for those who wants to rejuvenate their bodies.

They have plenty of things on their menu, but I had my eyes on the foot Reflexology and Body Massage package and here’s my therapist giving me a footbath before proceeding with the massage.

Getting massaged. It feels so good but here’s trying my best not to laugh out loud when the therapist was massaging my feet cuz I’m awfully ticklish there.

Once the foot reflexology session is up, I was ushered upstairs to the curtained area where I was given my full body massage treatment.

Sorry guys, no pictures. I was in nothing but my panties and a towel as my therapist massaged my body. I was told that it was just a basic traditional Malaysian massage, but it feels pretty much like magic to me. The massage took about 1hour and a half I feel so relaxed that I fell asleep during the treatment.

Now, let me be honest with all of you here. I’m not a huge fan of body massage, cuz I have bad experience in a spa before where the therapist exert too much energy and I got sore for two weeks before I feel better again, but I am glad that I gave The RUB Bar a try as the therapist knew how to control the pressure when she massaged me. Being ticklish on my foot aside, I felt nothing but fully relaxed and refreshed after treatment. Now, if your body are feeling tired and need an effectively quick recharging, I suggest you get some good rubbing at The RUB Bar.
