It was after midnight, and my entire family was feeling hungry. I didn’t feel like cooking anything, and so, we ended up going to SAS Corner in Danau Kota since all of our regular lurk was already closed for the day.
This place is well noted for their western food like chicken chops, burgers and grilled meat, but none of us wanted anything Western that night and opt to order their Malay dish instead.
We ordered mixed tomyam soup to go with the rice. It’s Rm4.50 per bowl, and it was something that I wouldn’t mind having again any time soon. It’s yummylicious and sour and spicy enough for me. Better than the regular tomyam house that I usually patronize.
Crispy fried omelette. Rm1.20. Nothing to shout about.
Their daging masak merah was wonderfully done, and the meat was tender too. This one costs s Rm4.00.
The boy would like to have something fried, and something crispy, so we ordered the fried prawns, which was really crispy and nice. This one cost us Rm5.50.
And last but not least, we ordered iced tea, iced milo and iced bandung to wash everything down with.
Total damage to the pocket: Rm23.40. Quite pricey for a midnight meal, but well… I have no complains cuz I did not have to cook and everyone was well fed by the end of the meal.
If you’d like to try the tomyam dish in this restaurant, here’s their address:
SAS Corner, No.62A, Plaza Crystal Ville, Taman Danau Kota,5300 Kuala Lumpur.
for that price..not bad wor….it still consider as cheaper comparing to KK. Huhuhuhu…~
Kira ok lah, hor? Standard price in KL. KK much more expensive than this? Why? Not much malay food kah?
Looks pretty good…but 5 prawn fritters for RM5.50 – expensive lah.
Haihh… wud to do… anak says want to eat this, so ordered for him to eat lor. Nevermind la, he habis makan oso, still worth the money. LOL!
yummy! Merry Christmas!
Merry Xmas to you too, Wenn. 😀
