Love good vibes and music? I have wonderful news for all you Malay music lovers here. Adi Media Pte Ltd announces today that they will be organising the StereoFest, the largest Malay music festival in Singapore – taking place at the heart of Sentosa at Palawan Green in 2020.
The festival features about 20 of the biggest acts from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Belt to the popular tunes of these singers over the 2-day spectacle with a diverse line-up of acts from Indonesia, Malaysia and of course, the Lion City itself.
Taking the stage are hot and familar names like New Boyz, Zee Avi, Ayda Jebat, 4U2C, Jaz, Elizabeth Tan and many more.
“We hope that StereoFest can increase the prestige of the Malay music in the region, and also provides a platform for local singers to be on the same stage as the famous artist. At the same time, we want to give the fans a destination and where they can watch and enjoy all of their favorite artists, “said Dian Rasid Managing Director at Adi Media Pte Ltd.
The two-day outdoor music jamboree will also be jam-packed with an array of food and drink offerings, pop-up shops and engaging activities for the whole family to partake in under the sun. So get your picnic mat ready and don’t forget your sunscreen. The best part of it is that Muslim music lovers can fully enjoy the entire music festival as it will also feature Halal bar by Wanderlust Lounge where fancy festival beverages like draf beers and sparkling wines with no alcohols will be served, a perfect setting to mingle around with other party goers, minus the drunken guilt. Festival goers can also look forward to a Festival Village which houses delectable local treats, shopping destination and plenty of activities for everyone.
In addition to music festivals to look forward to, Adi Media will also run StereoSearch, a competition to find a recording artist for the Malay music industry. The competition will be held online for preliminary stages. Eight singers will perform live on CelebFest in December, another event that is synonymous with ‘signature’ by Adi Media. The competition will be judged by professional judges of the Malaysian and Singapore music industries. The winner will bring home SGD 10,000 prizes, EP (extended play) deals and a presentation slot at StereoFest, February 2020.
