Bestseller book of all time- Holy Bible

Did you know that ‘Bible’ is a word derived from the Greek ‘biblia’ which literally means ‘The Books’? Yes… it means ‘The Books’. Notice that the word is in plural form, not singular, and this is applicable to Holy Bible itself, because the The Holy Bible itself is a compilation of ‘books’ and letters as well as scriptures.

The Christian Holy Bible is divided into two parts.

The first portion of the book is called the Old Testament, containing the 39 books of Hebrew Scripture, and the second portion is called the New Testament, containing a set of 27 books.

During the three centuries following the establishment of Christianity in the 1st century, Church Fathers compiled Gospel accounts and letters of apostles into a Christian Bible which became known as the New Testament.

The Old and New Testaments together are commonly referred to as “The Holy Bible”.

God gives us bible as guidance…. and a way of life. Devout Christians ought to let their children read bible and tell them biblical stories when they’re still young. There are many stories in the bible… like the creation of the world, the creation of Adam and Eve as well as the well famed Noah Ark. There’s so many things one could learn from the bible. unfortunately, children are pretty much visual creature, and more often than not, they would like to ‘see’ what happened in the bible, And the problem with most Holy Bible is that it’s pictureless, and little children would lost interest in learning about bible easily.

Now, with “Big Red” Holy Bible – Contemporary 3-D Art published by Thomas Nelson Publisher, children can enjoy reading bible as the stories in the bible came to life through the contemporary 3D art.

“Big Red” Holy Bible – Contemporary 3-D Art is a full-text of the International Children’s Bible translation with bright red cover and contemporary art. this bible is printed especially for children ages 6 to 12. “Big Red” has been updated with an all new collection of beautiful full color pages, illustrating treasured Bible stories, making learning bible and instilling interest in bibles on your children more fun and easy instead of dull and boring.

How do I rate this bible? Hey, it’s a bible. I’d rate this one 5 stars, of course, and would I recommend this? Of course I would. I would recommend this bible to not only children, but parents as well. This bible is perfect for any Christian family, and if you manage to get your hands on this, don’t be surprise if you found your kids reading them like reading their regular story books or novels. Thumbs up for this Bible.

I received this bible free from Thomas Nelson Publishers for an advance reading as part of their Booksneeze bloggers program . I was not required to write a positive review and therefore, the book review is 100% my own opinion.

I also bought a child’s bible for my daughter when she was growing up – everything there but in simplified language, so she could read and understand. I used to have a simplified version too that we studied in primary school – I was in a Catholic school…

I wasn’t so lucky…back then, children’s bible with fancy drawings on it are pretty hard to come by, and rather expensive too… my dad, being a student, can’t afford… so it’s the regular full text bible for me… and I couldn’t understand much, unless he explained them to me.
