Glitzy spectacle IMAGINATRICKS welcomes new acts at Resorts World Genting

Instilling awe and laughter in audiences with impressive showmanship and spectacular gymnastic feats, IMAGINATRICKS ups the entertainment factor with Antigravity Show and Kung Fu Boys, as the dynamic cast continues its year-long residency at Genting International Showroom.

From November 19, 2019, to June 28, 2020, the two new acts will join the diverse IMAGINATRICKS lineup of world-class dancers, performers, acrobats, and athletes, including Hungarian acrobatic sports theatre, Face Team and high wire extraordinaire from Colombia, The Gerlings. The stage production of IMAGINATRICKS debuted on May 25, 2019, and will have its final show on June 28, 2020.

Prepare to experience futuristic entertainment from Antigravity Show. It initially made its debut on America’s Got Talent doing flips and mind-boggling movements while suspended on stage in a high-tech videogame-esque performance, ultimately reaching the semifinals.A creative brainchild from industry leaders, Front Pictures, Red Rabbit Entertainment, and Profi Innovations, Antigravity Show utilizes patented technology that amplifies show and performance art production to greater heights. It manages to blur the line between the virtual and real world by interacting with physical and digital objects in real-time through revolutionary technology plus imaginative energy.Before gracing the stage at Genting International Showroom for the first time on November 19, Antigravity Show was featured in the list of “10 Coolest Multimedia Acts in ‘AGT’ History” by Talent Recap and has presented its live stage performance “Space Journey” which features a journey to the dark side of the moon with great ancient Chinese myths on World’s Got Talent in China.

Meanwhile, audiences can expect to be mind blown by another new addition to IMAGINATRICKS, Kung Fu Boys. The five-team member troupe from China – Sun XiZhong, Wang ZhenXi, Song YanZhao, Jia Jun, and Huang Chuan – first formed in 2004, after a year of training in the capital of Zhejiang province, Hangzhou.Combining a mix of Chinese martial arts and death-defying acrobatic acts, Kung Fu Boys has put on shows on internationally renowned stages. A stunt led by Kung Fu Boy’s Sun XiZhong earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010, where he climbed a 15-step staircase while balanced on his head.Page 2Kung Fu Boys has been invited by Swiss National Circus Knie for a national tour, performed for one month in Circus Flic Flac in Kassel, Germany in 2014, took part in National Theatre of Strasbourg, France in 2015 – 2016, and in March 2019, performed on Season 14 of America’s Got Talent.

The troupe’s performance ends with its signature nail-biting staircase climb balanced on their head while carrying two partners on shoulders.The stage production of IMAGINATRICKS run from Tuesday to Saturday at 8pm, Sundays at 4pm – at 85 minutes per show, with an additional 4pm matinee on Saturdays. Tickets are priced at RM196 (Preferred), RM146 (PS1) and RM96 (Gallery). An additional processing fee of RM4.00 applies.
