How many per year?

I used to be very productive. I could do many things per year. But as age catches up on me, I started to slow down slightly, and started to get lazier. But my passion for books never did die, and therefore, every now and then, I would pick up a few good books and indulge myself with the pleasures of reading and let myself drift away into the world where a lot of things is beyond my imaginations.

I used to be able to read 10 full length novels of various genre per day when I was younger, but these days, I could only read a maximum of 5 or 6 per day… and I only hit the number 10-12 per month, and only a maximum of 100 books per year since 2004.

I used to have the time to read more, but not anymore. I wish… sometimes,Ii could have more time to myself… to do things that makes myself feel good. But… it seems that even that is too much to ask now, because everyone around me is so demanding. If I could at least have 2-3 hours of complete silence a day, I believe, I would be on seventh heaven.

I ought to count my blessings, no? Thank God for small mercies. At least I still can read at least 6 books per day if I feel like doing some reading marathon. Some people don’t even have such privileges.

I start to pick up novels again for this year. It start to be addictive to keep on reading. Thanks for yr ebooks, i got hooked. Till now, i think i had 7 and half books, (reading 8th book but merely half book now). Too old to keep up the pace. Try to read an chapter each day before i slept.

Ah! I am 1 of those that hardly have time to read. I try to read when I am ‘doing business’ in the toilet la. Coz that’s the only time I can read peacefully while my mum jaga the lil girl
