I knew Melaka town like the back of my hand. I could walk and navigate in Melaka better than in Kuala Lumpur, my current home state, and one of my favourite place is the Jalan Tukang Emas and Jalan Hang Jebat; the area better known as the lively Jonker Walk.
There are plenty of tourist attractions in the vicinity of the Jonker Walk. Among them are the Harmony Street where you can find old mosque, temples just beside each other. Symbolic of how harmonious Malaccans are. Situated on the same street are budget hotels and guest houses, pubs, cafes and private museums which charges minimum fees per entry.
I’ve been to plenty of private museums in Jonker Walk. Among them are the Chinese Straits Museum, Cheng Ho Museum and many more, but never really bothered to visit the Mamee House in Jonker Walk.
Fortunately for me, I had the opportunity to visit the Mamee House in Jonker Walk during my previous business trip to Melaka, in conjunction of Mamee’s 45th Anniversary and Mommy’s Day Celebration where they invited bloggers and members of the media to have fun with their children and take a little tour around the museum.

To celebrate ‘Hari Mamee’ Mother’s Day and also the company’s 45th anniversary, the group of media who are mothers were invited with their children to visit and experience Mamee Jonker House that is rich in heritage properties and interactive in a modern interior twist.
We participated in several fun learning activities such as Noodle Doodle and Monster Kitchen where we created and customized our very own Mamee products made from scratch.

And we were brought to visit the Mamee Museum where we get to see Mamee products during the yesteryears and how the company expanded and continue to become the nation’s favourite throughout the years.
