Parents Creed…

I’ve been meaning to write about this… but I’m a huge procrastinator.I received a lot of pressies this year for my birthday, and unlike the yesteryears, this year’s birthday wasn’t painful or lonely at all. This year, I’m remembered, and I feel so blessed. I wanted to write about what I’ve received, but first, let me share what could be the most meaningful gift among the things I’ve received.

Someone very special gave me this for my birthday earlier this month. It’s a little card, with writings on it. Initially, I wanted to snap the picture of the card and put it here, but seeing how bad the quality of camera is, it won’t do the beauty of the card any justice, and I think it’s best if I just copy the writings over here:

Parents Creed

If a child lives with criticism,
he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility,
he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule,
he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame,
he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance,
he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement,
he learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise,
he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness,
he learns justice.
If a child lives with security,
he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval,
he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with
acceptance and friendship,
he learns to find Love in the world.

Cleffairy: Thank you, Cikgu, for being so thoughtful. 😀 This means a lot to me, and I’ll remember this for as long as I can.

ps: Your other pressie… the sexy garment… lol… I used it when I paint, instead of cooking. 😀 Yeah, I do paint. *roll eyes*

Most welcome… So hard when I’m all the way over here – sending anything by poslaju may mean that you end up paying more for postage than the actual price of what’s in the parcel. Glad you like it!

You paint? *rolls eyes….mouth agape! Hahahahaha!!!!

  2. Cleffairy says:

*glare* Of course I paint. I do crafts too…wind-chimes out of seashells, sea-shells curtains…but… they’re just like my cooking… hahahahahahahahahahahahaha…. that’s why never put up here! Hahahahaha… I’ll just spare your innocent eyes from my… uh… masterpiece… they’re quite gory, I can assure you! Hahahahahaahah! I don’t have talents for crafts and pretty paintings, I’m afraid.LMAO.

ps: Yeah, I like it… lol…your pressie reminds me of you… lol… the fat man on it…my hubby says the man looks like you! Kekekeke…

    • Cleffairy says:

Sure I can, but they’re not nice… hahahahaha… looks not nice…so better hush hush about them.

And I can eat too, do you know that? LOL… so when I go to Johor… you better watch out. Hahahaha…. you’re gonna have to feed me. LOLOL!

So , so true Dear Fairy. I cringe whenever I see those little spoilt brats abusing the maids, cursing and swearing. Certainly reflects badly on the people who brought them up.

    • Cleffairy says:

It’s all in the upbringing, I suppose. I’m like my father… LOL… I have mind of my own, and thank God I don’t have a daughter, i daresay she’d be really rebellious.
