The yearly initiative from KFC and Pizza Hut Malaysia to help end world hunger sees another great success this year, with a total of RM3.6 million collected which will be channeled towards the poor across Malaysia, as well as the United Nations World Food Programme. A charity concert was held to commemorate the campaign’s success.

The guest of honour and WHR’s Royal Patron, The Permaisuri of Johor, DYMM Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah was present to grace the event. YB Dato’ Kamaruzzaman Bin Abu Kassim, Chairman of QSR Brands, Belkacem Benzaza, Head of UN Humanitarian Response Depot, United Nations World Food Programme, Madelene Sachi, Chief Legal Officer Asia and Add Hope & Deliver Hope Ambassador Asia, YUM! Asia Franchise also came to show their support at the glorious event alongside KFC & Pizza Hut Malaysia’s WHR spokesperson; Scha Alyahya.

The concert featured performances by local singing sensations namely Anuar Zain, Ning Baizura, and Misha Omar whom all mesmerized the audience with their wonderful performances.
