Under the Nestlé Cocoa Plan, KITKAT Popcorn is made using 100% sustainably sourced cocoa. The Nestlé Cocoa Plan was launched in 2009, in efforts to improve the livelihood of cocoa farming communities in Côte d’Ivoire with the purpose of enhancing the quality of life and contributing to a healthier future. KITKAT Malaysia produces its KITKAT product range at the factory in Chembong, Negeri Sembilan.

Over the years, KITKAT has also expanded into the customised confectionery market with the introduction of the KITKAT Chocolatory in 2016, a chocolate concept store located in Mid Valley Megamall that offers up to 10,000 flavour combinations for a truly customised break.
