Wear It Pink Charity Dinner at Quill City Mall: Speech by A Breast Cancer Survivor
It is estimated that over 508 000 women died in 2011 worldwide due to breast cancer (Global Health Estimates, WHO 2013). Although breast cancer is thought to be a disease of the developed world, almost 50% of breast cancer cases and 58% of deaths occur in less developed countries (GLOBOCAN 2008). Breast cancer is the second most common killing cancer in the world where it was actually caused due to lack of awareness or insufficient fund to treat the illness.
And here’s some of the Jellycat Bunnies that was placed on auction.
Adorable, aren’t they?
Fluffy and cute
There’s no Jellycat Bunnies that are the same during the auction and some of them fetched a value as high as RM5,000 per bunny. Delicately exquisite, these Jellycat Bunnies are exclusively unique and one of a kind. Bidding starts from RM500 per Jellycat Bunnies.
A happy successful bidder, Dato Micheal Ong, CEO of Quill City Mall with his Jellycat Bunny.
The charity auction was very successful and was raised to Rm40, 000 that nighg. The proceeds of the auction will be channeled to the Breast Cancer Welfare Association in hope to give a better quality life to both breast cancer patients and survivors.
