Quill City Mall – the latest shopping, dining and entertainment sensation located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur along Jalan Sultan Ismail is transformed into a time machine of sorts, taking patrons back in time to the Kuala Lumpur of yore, in line with the mall’s “Our Raya Story of Kuala Lumpur” theme.

Visitors to the mall can literally walk down memory lane, reminiscing their childhood with sights and sounds to capture the essence of Kuala Lumpur of yesteryear.

Throughout the fasting month, Quill City Mall’s Main Court and East Court will be lined with booths and push-carts, which will also contribute towards reliving the experience of Kuala Lumpur in the 1980’s, complete with cookies, hampers and fashionwear.

As part of the mall’s launch of its Ramadhan and Hari Raya offerings, and in keeping with the spirit of giving back, Quill City Mall hosted 40 children from Rumah Anak Yatim Baitul Ehsan for shopping excursion yesterday.

And to further evoke a spirit of togetherness and nostalgia during their experience at Quill City Mall, the children were also treated to break their fast in Sakura Kristal Restaurant.

It was indeed an experience for me and my son the other day when we were given the opportunity to break fast with the underprivileged children. It makes me feel how blessed we are to still have each other. 🙂

That said, Ramadan Mubarak to all Muslims out there.
