Sparks Joy in The Kitchen with AFY Haniff Dishwasher and Foaming Handwash

If you have been following my social media, you’d realized that apart from being such a glutton of a foodie, I enjoy cooking for my family as well. Apart from prepping food for the busy week, I’ll prepare a feast for my family too whenever the mood strike. Cleaning up after cooking and doing the dishes on the other hand, is another story, though. I’m not much of a Domesticated Goddess and I hate doing dirty dishes.

Now, now, before you go on and accuse me for being lazy, let me assure you that it’s not exactly the case. I hate doing dishes not because I’m lazy but because my skin is really sensitive towards soap and dishwasher and they usually irritate my skin to the point that they itches and peeled off. It’s doubtlessly a nasty experience and no amount of hand lotions can help with the peeling skin on my fingers.

My solution to the problem was to just delegate the dirty dishes chores to my husband and son, but they too suffer from sensitive skin; whereby their skin itches whenever they helped me with the dirty dishes.

These dishwasher  at least wash 500 dirty dishes with the 500ml dishwasher and up to 1000 dirty dishes with the 900ml dishwasher.

It’s not only a powerful cleaning agent that helps to removes oil and dirt on the dishes and food containers but help eliminate the smell on the dishes and food containers as well. And the best part of it all, my skin does not have any sensitive reaction to it at all. It’s really surprising, considering while most dishwashing liquid really does their job well in cleaning up dishes and removes greases on the dirty plates and whatnot, but they are mostly eroding agents that peels off my sensitive skin. The only thing that was left behind by these  AFY Haniff 40 Days dishwashing liquid was merely lingering fragrance that’s so fragrant to smell. The Serai Wangi version left the lemongrass fragrance behind while the unique Pandan and Lime  version smell really fresh and wonderful. Using these Plash dishwashing liquid by AFY Haniff is pretty much a pleasant experience. My kitchen actually smell as if I’ve lighted up an aroma therapy candles in it.

To say that I’m a happy camper is definitely an understatement. I used to hate doing dishes very much and now even though I have piling dishes in the sink after cooking up a storm, I find it’s not much of a chore anymore. In fact, I look forward to it very much as the soothing scents are rather relaxing and thereupeutic.

Resorts World Genting Celebrates Love this Valentine’s Day with 150 Hospitalised Children

In conjunction with Valentine’s Day and the Chinese New Year season, Resorts World Genting distributed tokens of love to the inpatient children admitted at the Oncology and Cancer Wards of the Women and Children Health Complex, University Malaya Medical Centre.

Puan Seri Cecilia Lim, wife of Genting Malaysia Berhad’s Chairman Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay said, “Our visit today is just a small gesture by Resorts World Genting to spread some cheer and smiles amongst the patients. Helping children is one of the causes that is very near and dear to my heart and I hope that our visit today will be a memorable one for the children and will help in some part for their speedy recovery.”

The patients who were admitted with diseases such as various forms of cancer, diabetes and dengue fever, had smiles on their faces when they were greeted by the official mascots of the Skytropolis Funland indoor theme park at Resorts World Genting. The 150 patients included month-old babies to adolescents.  Allie the Elephant and Tabby the Tiger high-fived the children and bounced around exuberantly. The colourful mascots were dressed for the season with Tabby the Tiger sporting bright orange and red stripes in a bright red samfoo and Allie the Elephant looked adorable with a tuft of purple hair, glasses and a crimson cheongsam. Frankie the clown was also on hand to twist and turn balloons into an assortment of animal shapes for the children as he had the kids laughing with his silly jokes.

Colouring books, colouring pencil sets, KFC set meals were also personally distributed by Puan Seri Cecilia Lim as she was accompanied by Dr. Azriyanti Anuar Zaini, Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Endocrinologist of the Department of Paediatrics, University Malaya Medical Centre who introduced the patients and Katherine Chew, Vice President of Resort Communications and Public Relations. She also gave out red packets in conjunction with the ongoing Chinese New Year festival. Mandarin oranges and delectable pineapple tarts crafted by chefs of Resorts World Genting were also given out to the nurses of the respective wards. At the end of the day, the children had an unforgettable Valentine’s Day.

Malaysia Hosts Chinese New Year Open House 2019 and Promotes Nation’s Unity

Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia in collaboration with the Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus government has held the Chinese New Year Malaysian Open House (MRTM) 2019 at Dataran Centrio, Seremban 2, here today.

The ceremony was officiated by YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, YAB Dato ‘Art Aminuddin bin Harun. Also present were YAB Dato ‘Seri Wan Azizah binti Dr. Wan Ismail, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, YB Datuk Mohamaddin bin Ketapi, Malaysia’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, YB Tuan Anthony Loke Siew Fook, the Minister of Transport Malaysia and representatives of the Chinese community, cabinet ministers, members of the Legislative Assembly ) as well as national and local community leaders.

The objective of this program is to foster the spirit of unity and understanding of the multi-racial society, to foster the spirit of the New Malaysia, to foster friendly relations between leaders and the people and to highlight the traditions and cultures of celebrating major celebrations in Malaysia as one national travel container. This event is a national event which is held annually to celebrate religious celebrations celebrated by various races in Malaysia namely Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Christmas, Tadau Kaamatan, Deepavali and others organized since 2001 Hence, the celebration of the Chinese New Year MRTM this is to boost the festive celebration of the Chinese community in Malaysia. MRTM can be a key platform in introducing and promoting Chinese New Year celebration in Malaysia to domestic and foreign tourists.

The disparities presented in MRTM this time are singles and dragon dance performances by local Chinese art groups such as the Muar Sing Gendang 24 Festival and Muar Lion Dance Group which is the world’s finest lion dance group. In addition, pre-performances were held such as CNY Idol Competition, Cheongsam Show and Line Dance Competition. There were also artistic exercises, Zumba dan FitnJoy dancing which starts at 7.30am accompanied by locals and visitors to enliven the ceremony with the morning activities. MRTM also provides mobile ctc services such as dental checks, health checks and PTPTN registration. Furthermore, the Malaysian Open House Council also offers free Chinese traditional food delicacies to the public beginning at 6.00 pm. Apart from that there were also a program that gave the people the chance to meet the leader, the Touchpoint Program. The program starts in the evening where the leaders have gathered at the Seri Sikamat Serawak Activity Center (PAWE). A total of 100 people received donations accompanied by afternoon tea with the leader LETS Issued by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia.

Amazing and Thrilling Time at Skytropolis Funland, Resorts World Genting

I don’t like boring people and boring things in my life. I like heart-pumping exhilarating things. They make me feel alive, and I constantly look for things that gives me such feelings. I guess I am an Adreneline junkie after all. And speaking of being an Adrenaline junkie, I must share with you the perfect place you must go if you like all things fun and thrilling; the newly opened Skytropolis Funland in Resorts World Genting.

Skytropolis Funland  made it’s debuts in December last year. Since it’s  opening, it has attracted thousands of visitors to the resort. Previously known as the First World Indoor Theme Park, the attraction saw more than 20 million visitors walking through and enjoying the indoor theme park with more than 1,000,000 tickets sold a year before its closure in 2017.

Divided into Child, Family and Thrill categories, each of the rides has been specifically designed with a glorious andkaleidoscopic atmosphere. For children, things can start off merrily in the Ride ‘Em Round, a classic carousel of pastiche elephants, lions and horses, whirling around at speed. Pick up
the pace in the Whirly Bugs ride, where kids will be seated in pods rotating swiftly around a central spire. Boo Boo Bump provides a spin on the classic bumper cars, while Loop De Loop rotates frantically around an illuminated wrought-iron Genting Tower to shrieks of joy. Kid-friendly drop tower Jumping Spurs with mild drops and climbs will be added soon. Adults can get in on the fun as well, with rides meant for the whole family to enjoy.

Here’s me and my son, riding on the bumper car in Skytropolis Funland. I was abot reluctant to hop in cuz I’m a terrible bumper car driver and instead of bumping other cars, I keep getting pushed to the corner. But my son is a good bumper car driver, so I let him do the job.

The Skytower ride was one of my favourite ride at Skytropolis Funland. This ride takes us up to the top of an Art Deco tower at a leisurely pace, only to drop us at thrilling speed to the base. I screamed really loud, when it dropped, I must say. It’s so exciting and I will definitely go on this again in a heartbeat in my next visit to Skytropolis Funland.

Here’s experiencing another thrill ride at Skytropolis Funland; The Disco. It spins really fast and gives such an Adrenaline boost. I must admit that I screamed really loud when it started to spin too. A must ride if you love those crazily fast ride.

The zip line which is the longest in a shopping mall in Malaysia, offers a one-of-a-kind view of the indoor theme park for adrenaline junkies who will whizz through, high above everyone. Bona Cinemas at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting has recently announced that they’ve added IMAX and Gold Class with D-BOX halls to its gilded cineplex and I decided to go for a little movie marathon to enjoy the latest movie in these awesome settings with the best of technology. It was an awesome experience, I assure you.

Watching movies in IMAX equipped hall is really engaging. I was informed that at IMAX equipped halls, two projectors run simultaneously to provide the perfect image with a balance of warmth and sharpness. My movie watching experience in IMAX includes immensely real explosion. Even whispers from the movies seems to come over my shoulder. The rumbling bass can be felt instead of heard. Happy skin, happy you. Won’t you agree with that with me? I surely agree with this statement. Sadly, I am not very happy with my skin lately. It has turned rather dull and somewhat lost it’s radiance. Someone commented that I looked rather tired and haggard. The Dr.Glamogenic Brassica Peeling Gel comes in a convenient tube of 100ml and provides mild and moist peeling gel with broccoli extracts that are rich in vitamins, minerals and nature-oriented cellulose.

This Brassica Peeling Gel is really easy to use. All you need to do  is squeeze a pea-sized amount on your finger, rub them on your skin, and wash off after tiny clumps form on them.

The ingredients in the gel interact with any oil or grime sitting on your skin, and clump up with some friction. The clumps act like the grains in a scrub, but they are much softer and less scratchy. This gel is definitely gentler on the skin, in comparison to the regular scrubs that I got from drugstores.

The peeling gel is quite effective, I must say. I was  immediately left with smooth and slightly glowing skin upon rinsing. Pretty cool, huh? With this peeling gel you don’t have to worry about bacterial growth, nor do you need to remember to take it out of the shower and dry it out properly in between uses.The peeling gel ensures the skin is exfoliated properly. As the oil, grime, and all the impurities are neatly “peeled off”, you are left with supple and rejuvenated skin since. The skin actually feels fresher and healthier than before.

Overall, I really like this gel. It helps my skin to breathe. My skin really feel fresh and ‘light’ after exfoliation with the gel and and hopefully, after long term usage, my skin will be more radiant than before. I haven’t try other products in De.Glamogenic range of skincare yet and would give them a try soon. But I can honestly recommend this Brassica Peeling Gel. It’s fanstastic and makes me feel as if I’m worth a million dollar.
