Road Blocks

I will refrain from commenting on the electoral reformation rally that will be held in my country on 9th July 2011 cuz I don’t see a point in doing so. I would feel like barking to a mountain. Complaining about the Malaysian government is not worth my time, and doing so will only make my blood boil.

Anyway, I’m not here to vent about trivial issues like that. I have better things to do. I’m just here to inform you folks about the road closure in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. I think it would be really helpful if you intend to travel or drive around in KL for whatever reason tomorrow.

I only pray things will not get blown out of proportions. When people are so emotionally charged, the slightest provocation may lead to the whole thing going out of control and the consequences may be tragic, to put it mildly. Just pray that nothing of the sort will happen… I hear many students will be there – too young too vote and those who are all enough are not even registered to do so… Here’s a comment I came across: “Ya Allah ni….kena try jugak ler….paling teruk pun kena gas….dah beli topeng dah…ni Malaysia ni..kalo nak tembak2 kat jalan sumpah Allah jahanam tanah Malaysia ni”

Sigh…I will refrain from commenting regarding this sensitive issue. 🙁 All these things…. are making people’s life difficult onli, and I’m sick to the stomach about this…menyampah on both sides… both gov and the Bersih supporters. All I want is one nice Saturday wif my family, and yet, it will go to waste cuz we can’t really go anywhere cuz of those damn roadbloacks and stuff. Tsk tsk tsk. Menyusahkan orang aje.

If they are voters, then I will keep my mouth shut… but most of them are not voters… and yet shouting for clean election? TSK! Just joining the fun, I guess.

hi, just hopped over from claire’s blog. Congrats on your novel!me too do not want to comment much about the above but just pray that everyone gathers peacefully..

    • Cleffairy says:

Yes… we can hope and pray… too bad that freedom of speech and opinion these days comes with a price. Bersih made me wonder whatever happened to the federal constitution where citizens are allowed to gather peacefully. 🙁

Hahaha most people advised to stay at home or not to use car due to roadblocks & YES all these nonsense politicking by quarters concerned just add to many existing woes in life

I saw the photos and the videos…all Malays leh…and I wonder why the women cover up their faces like their criminals or bad people? Not all wearing yellow some more – quite a disappointment…not like the Thailand one.

    • Cleffairy says:

No idea… to me, if they rally peacefully to have their opinions heard or hand over memorandum, it is acceptable..but most are just there to ‘join in the fun’ and dun even know what they are truly rallying for.

I just got back from Thailand today and my wife kept pestering me to allow her to mogok next time! She is mad at the whole politics now. How to calm her down like you?

    • Cleffairy says:

Easy… let her blog about it and she’ll calm down when she’s sick of ranting about the whole Malaysian politics. ROFLOL. I started off a political blogger… and got soooooo fucking sick of it that I couldn’t give a damn right now if they’re to tell me who and who is fucking who doggy style in the goddamn parliament building!
