It’s mid-Autumn and it’s time for togetherness again at Sungei Wang Plaza as they are all geared up for the Mid-Autumn festival this year.
Bazaar selling mooncakes, colourful lanterns and traditional clothes aplenty.
The centre stage has been transformed into a beautiful Chinese garden.
Aiming to bring back their shoppers back in time; Sungei Wang Plaza had the mall beautifully decorated with 8 life sized famous Chinese opera characters lanterns that’s jointly installed with Magnum 4D.
Giant wishing lantern at the core of the mall, signifying auspicious togetherness and prosperity.
During the olden times, people would go and watch opera shows on stage and appreciate the colourful lanterns displayed everywhere during the Mid-Autumn Festival but here at Sungei Wang Plaza, it will be more than just traditional dance, lion dance and stage stage performances. Sungei Wang Plaza will be hosting interactive workshops where shoppers can learn how to make their own mooncakes and learn how to sculpt rabbit balloons. There will also be lantern parade where 500 paper lanterns sponsored by Mr.DIY will be given away to shoppers so that they could join the cheer. And to add on to the festive cheer, 50 lucky shoppers will also have the opportunity to walk away with free hotel stays at Resorts World Genting.
So, what are you waiting for? Head over to Sungei Wang Plaza for all kinds of everything during the festive season.
