I can practically feel the stress in my bones and it is having bad effects on my body. I’ve been suffering from nasty headaches that leads to migraine. If that is not bad enough, I suffer from tummy bloatedness and insomnia as well.

I’ve been to the doctor’s office to get some help, of course, but nothing prescribed by the doctor actually works and in the end they conclude that these are merely stress-related symtoms and all I need to do is just take it easy. Well, taking easy is not quite my style, and I remember my late grandmother used to suffer the same thing as I did as well when she was still alive and she would come up with all sort of home remedies to fix what’s ailing her and our family. What’s the most important aspect that’s the most important to you when it comes to personal grooming? I’m not sure what is the most important to you when it comes to personal grooming, but to me, it is important to have your own distinctive style and look beautiful from top to toe when you are out and about socializing, if not 24/7.

I believe that you’ll never know who you’ll meet whenever you go out every day and there’s no second chance in making a good first impresssion. As a mother and a professional who is already well into her 30s, I make it a point to look as pleasant as possible. My style; always the subtle and professional look.

When it comes to clothings, I always go for those that are always in style. Hairstyle? Not too fancy. And makeup? Well, makeup must always be long lasting and non staining. Problems? Yes. Most makeups that I got from the drugstores are not always long lasting and they pretty much stain easily.

Getting advices from beauty blogger friends around, I was introduced to a couple of trustworthy makeup brands that are not only affordable, but long lasting and doesn’t stain as well. One of them is 3ina.

3ina Makeup assigned a MUA to attend to me and I told her that I wanted something different that the makeup that I usually worn.

I was in the mood for something really colourful, festive and striking.

So what do you think? I kinda like how striking the colours are and the makeup makes me look as if I was still in my teenage years. Not my usual daily makeup look, but certainly the kind of look I would want to wear during events and special occasions.

Resting it Up at Healing Touch, Resorts World Genting

My feet was practically killing me after hours and hours of having fun exploring Ripley’s Adventureland in SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting. So, I decided that it is time to give my feet a break at The Healing Touch.

Located at the same level with the 3 attractions that I visited earlier, Healing Touch offers all sorts of massaging treatments.

The interior decoration of this place is kept to bare minimum with dim lighting and I find the place is really good for relaxing.

Fish spa service is available here at Healing Touch Spa. This is a very interesting service as all you need to do is dip your feet into the pool that’s full of the little fishes and these hungry fishes will eat up all of the dead cells on your skin. They say it is not painful, but rather ticklish.

Initially I wanted to go for the fish spa but I ended up going for the foot therapy session and I was informed that my reflexologist will work on my feet up to my knee. I was given a change of pants since I was wearing jeggings and my session kicks off with a warm water foot soak and a little foot steam bath. Being a first timer for massages as this one, I had no idea why I couldn’t just straight go for the massaging treatment, but they informed me that the warm water soak and the foot steam bath that I had earlier will prepare my feet for the oil massage that comes next.

The feet therapy involved application of pressure to the feet and up to my knees and all my feet’s acupoints that is supposed to be somewhat interconnects with my internal organs.

Going through the massaging session was abit of a challenge to me as I’m very ticklish on my left feet. I ended up laughing and giggling at first but luckily my reflexologist got the drift and adjusted her massaging pressure accordingly and I eventually managed to relax enough to fall asleep during the session.

Overall the experience was really good and I could practically feel the blood rushing through my veins after the massage and my feet are not as stiff as it was before I had the treatment done. Highly recommended, especially those who haven’t had a R&R in a very long time.

Once you walked into the Zombies Outbreak area, you’ll find yourselves being chased not only by the freaky undeads, but you’ll be hurled into the ghostly realms too where you will be haunted by all sorts of spirits and ghost.

The Zombies Outbreak is completely safe but it is not for the faint hearted and I wouldn’t recommended you to visit this place if you have heart problems as ‘zombies’ and ghosts will scare you to the bone and startle you.

Bring your little children in at your own discretion. I would recommend this to those who are 12 years old and above due to the creepy nature of the place.

3. Travel back in time and learn all about dinosaurs at Jurrasic Research Centre.

Curious about dinosaurs? Head over to Jurrasic Research centres and walk through the passage of time and travel back to the pre-historic era to where dinosaurs are still roaming the Earth.

Jurrasic Research Centre features plenty of interactive fun where you’ll be able to get up close and personal with dinosaurs in their re-imagined natural habitat.

The scenes are mostly realistic where dinosaurs are not only moving and roaring, but you will be able to see the predatory dinosaurs ripping off the hearts of their preys as well. But no worries, it’s pretty much a primary school standard kind of scenes and there’s nothing overly gory over here.

The archeologists in you will also be pleased to discover that there are also labatories that exhibits the replicas of the good old dino’s fossils.

I have no doubt that even National Geograpic will approve the documentary contents offered at Jurrasic Research Centre in Resorts World Genting.
