Sungei Wang Shares Ramadan Joy with Underprivileged Children

I’m a bit of a shopaholic and Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur is one of my favourite shopping lurk. I somewhat consider the shopping mall almost my second home and I can be seen hunting for stuff there pretty often. True to it’s tagline, Sungei Wang offers all kinds of everything and ‘everything’ in one place is just the thing that a busy woman like me need; convenience to shop for stuff in just one place.

It is almost mid Ramadan as of writing and Sungei Wang has just announced their Aidilfitri theme for the year; Lip-Lap Lip-Lip Raya during the launching of their month long Aidilfitri celebration in the mall.

 photo IMG_9918_zpsexgpnk7o.jpg

Sungei Wang Plaza has invited underprivileged children to share the Ramadan and Aidilfitri joy, and the children were treated to a fun day out at the mall.

 photo IMG_9930_zpsmb5bd9zk.jpg

There were performances by local artists and cultural performances by JKKN performers.

 photo IMG_9968_zpsdsm24b03.jpg

The children were treated to a sumptuos breaking fast session in Nandos, and it is by far the most enjoyable breaking fast session that I’ve had so far as the children were treated like VVIP in Nandos and the Sungei Wang staffs, bosses and media all get to sit and eat together with the kids instead of being segregrated.

Attractions in Bentong: Bee Farm & Bee Museum

This is a continuation of my Cuti Cuti Malaysia #Dekatje Visit Bentong project. While the place I’ll be talking about is not exactly geographically located in Bentong, it is pretty much a place that is located nearby. Located in between the small town of Raub and Bentong, Valley Agro Park is actually famous locally for being a must visit attraction should you visit Bentong, Pahang.

Valley Agro Park consists of a few attractions on it’s own, which are the chalets, the Bee Farm and Bee Museum, the restaurant and the fishing pond. It is a perfect place for an eco escapade but if you are looking for something sweetly educational, try visiting the Bee Farm and the Bee Museum, located in the vicinity of Valley Agro Park.

The Bee Farm and the Bee Museum is pretty much unique and houses stingless bees that produce honey with unique taste.
