Thymos Anti Sinus/Nasal Allergies Spray

Health is wealth. Won’t you agree on that with me? To me health is a wealth beyond measure. Let’s admit it, living in the world where the cost of living and medical fees are going up every single day, taking care of yourself and preventing yourself from being sick makes more sense than getting medical intervention when you are awfully sick. Not only you have to fork out alot money to get well again when you’re ill, but you’ll trouble and worry those who care for you as well. Both my parents and in laws are not exactly close-knitted. We only see each other once or twice a year during festive seasons and are living far away from me. My husband on the other hand, works almost all the time and don’t exactly have time to care for a sick person. Even if he wanted to take care of me when I’m sick, his work commitment is usually very demanding and more often than not, he needs to be elsewhere than taking care of both me and son when we get sick.

How about my son, then? Can’t he take care of me when I’m sick? Well, my son is a special need child and needed me to take care of him instead and although he is the most helpful child around, he can’t really take care of me when I’m sick.

The best way for a better life for both me and my son is to stay as healthy as possible and not fall sick often if we can help it.

Problem? Yes. I fall sick easily, especially during my menstruation. I sneeze alot, cough alot and I get fever easily during menstruation period. I notice I will start sneezing in the morning like nobody’s business, more than usual when I’m on my period. It’s like I’ve been cursed by some Period Demon or something. But alas, I discovered that there’s no Period Demon who laid a curse on me. It’s just that my immunity happens to be on the low side during those times of the month and my body is much more sensitive to the surroundings, hence the reaction; sneezing non stop that could easily lead to flu and slowly develop into a quick fever soon after. A doctor once told me, it’s my sinus acting up. It got more worst and I sneeze more during menstruation period as it is the time when my body is the weakest. I’ve been tolerating this sinus problem for years since I hit puberty, and have no ways of worming out of it until one day, I was introduced to Thymos Anti Sinus/Nasal Allergies Spray.  I really hated that I sneeze every now and then and got worst during period and I’m not really a big fan of going to the doctor’s office, regardless how handsome and a looker the doctor is, and so I decided to give this Thymos Anti Sinus/Nasal Allergies Spray a shot.

image

Thymos Anti Sinus/Nasal Allergies Spray. Pronounced as ‘Tee-moss’.

image

Gotten this at Guardian Pharmacy nearby. Initially I thought this is some sort of nasal spray that you need to spray into your nasal, but it is not. It is basically a sanitizer and a type of disinfectant spray with the tagline  ‘Invisible Airshield Technology, Incredible Protection’.

image

Thymos claims to combat airborne allergens and supercharges immunity via it’s Revolutionary AirShield Technology from UK. Thymos is the world’s most advanced sanitizer that works around the clock to protect you from most harmful bacteria and viruses and effectively reduces pathogenically induced allergies, and it has been clinically proven to kill 99.99% pathogens and allergens.

image

I will be completely honest with all of you who are reading this. When I was first introduced to this Thymos Anti Sinus/ Nasal Allergies Spray, I thought it’s a bloody scam, especially when they advertised this catchy phrase on their Facebook;  ’10 years sinus, relief in 3 days’. I thought, how is it possible for a problem that I’ve been having since I was young be solved in just 3 days? Furthermore all you need to do is just spray this on your clothes, your pillow or simply use it like a perfume. This must be some sort of marketing gimmick. Or so I thought but surprisingly, this thing works like a charm.

image

I started to use this one morning where I sprayed it on my clothes like I would a perfume and my sneezing somewhat stopped a couple of minutes after that. I didn’t notice it at first as I went out to a Press Conference after that and I started sneezing again after lunch, but when I sprayed it again, the frequent sneezing stopped again for quite some time til I got home. So I was thinking, perhaps this stuff works after all and I experimented by spraying my pillow and my pajamas again before I went to sleep. And guess what? I woke up sneeze-free the next morning. And I was on my period, mind you. I usually sneeze like crazy in the morning when I’m on my period but this time around, it’s gone. I didn’t even sneeze once. Thymos Anti Sinus/Nasal Allergies Spray really works. I swear. It must have been either the spray has killed the unseen bad bacteria in the air that I’m allergic to or it has somewhat boosted my immunity, I don’t know which one but it really works and I’m definitely a happy camper.

And yes, I am recommending this product to all those who have sinus or allergies problem and those who like to give a little boost to their immunity. Thymos Anti Sinus/ Nasal Allergies Spray is pretty straight forward to use. All you need to do is just spray a few times on your pillow before you sleep, 4 to 6 pumps on your clothes like you would a perfume or simply spray it a little bit in the air. You’ll see the difference almost immediately, I assure you.

Thymos Anti Sinus/ Nasal Allergies Spray is a Muslim friendly product. It contains no alcohol, so there’s no issue should you want to use it after taking wudu’ to perform your prayers. Thymos Anti Sinus/ Nasal Allergies Spray doesn’t contain any steroids,  antibiotic or fragrances. Thymos Self-Sanitising technology generates powerful bacteriostatic electrons to form an invisible, colourless, odourless shield on treated surfaces and instantly weakens the pathogens’ organic membrane; stops its replication and ultimately causes pathogens’ cell death while ensuring safe skin contact for users from toddlers to adults. Thymos Anti Sinus/ Nasal Allergies Spray is also safe to be used by expecting mothers. The best part of all? It’s travel friendly too. With the shape no bigger than a regular mascara or a lipgloss, it fits easily in any bag or purse.

As much as I advocate that this stuff is really good, you need to take note that Thymos Anti Sinus/ Nasal Allergies Spray is not a medicine to cure any serious sinus or allergy related illness. Thymos Anti Sinus/ Nasal Allergies Spray is a sanitizer that helps to boost your immunity and shields you from harmful bacteria around you and offers you instant relief, but I must stress that it is not a medicine for any serious illness.

Should you still continuously have problems, or have prolonged sneezing despite having used Thymos Anti Sinus/ Nasal Allergies Spray, please do yourself a favour and consult your doctor for further medical intervention.

Thymos Anti Sinus/Nasal Allergies Spray is exclusively available at Guardian Malaysia at a promotional price of RM69.90.

D’Adza Lips Magic Colour Collagen Lipbalm

The horribly dry weather is taking tolls on me, and I started to develop cracked and dry lips, which is really, really painful.

I knew I had to do something about it before it got worst and so, I got my hands on D’Adza Lips Magic Colour Collagen Lipbalm.

Made from natural ingredients and contains collagen, D’Adza Lips Magic Colour Collagen Lipbalm not only helps to heal my cracked lips, but keep my dry lips moisturized as well. I usually apply the balm before putting on my favourite matte lipstick for extra  moisturizer and apply em again after wearing my regular lipsticks so that it can help the lipstick colour to stay on longer. The texture of this D’Adza Lips Magic Colour Collagen Lipbalm is pretty rich and smooth and it glided easily on the lips.

One thing interesting about this D’Adza Lips Magic Colour Collagen Lipbalm is that you can also use it on it’s own as a lipstick, as it will gradually turn into brighter colour like any regular lipstick would.

The colour varies from one individual to others as it kinda complement the wearer’s skin PH and body temperature. The best part? It does not leave any nasty stain. Pro-tip: D’Adza Lips Magic Colour Collagen Lipbalm not only can be used like a regular lipbalm to help keep your lips moisturized, but it can also be used as a blusher as well for an all natural look.

Productivity Nexus For Retail and F&B Flagship Program to Empower Human Capital Productivity in Malaysia

image

The Productivity Nexus has proven its keen initiative of increasing human capital productivity by implementing the Productivity Nexus for the Retail
and Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. This targets a 7.2% growth in labour productivity in the industry to meet the 2020 national level productivity target of RM92,300 per worker, as announced during the Official Launch of the Flagship Programmes held at
Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The Productivity Nexus for Retail and F&B is a one-stop centre that caters to enterprises to boost productivity while increasing innovation and capturing growth opportunities. The initiatives emphasises the development of a holistic ecosystem in order to increase technology adoption and further strengthen key industry enablers.
The Productivity Nexus is led by highly skilled and specialised individual who is committed in administering the implementation of productivity efforts as governed by the National
Productivity Council (NPC) and aims to forge close partnerships among industry associations and partners to strengthen industry-specific support infrastructure and foster cross industry
collaboration through various industry initiatives.

image

Through this, the platform, driven by the private sector and supported by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, aims to empower industry associations to become key change agents
in the nation. This is because the collective power of industry associations offer a strong bridge
to connect with enterprises and knowledge experts in each sector. The event was officiated by YBhg Dato’ Dr Mohd Ghazali Bin Abas, Secretary General of Human Resources
representing YB Dato’ Sri (Dr) Richard Riot Anak Jaem, Minister of Human Resources.

As of right now, the Retail and F&B sector currently employs no less than 2.7 million people which marks a value-added of RM89 billion – recording an 8.3% contribution to the nation’s
Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, the productivity in this sector remains as one of the lowest. This spurred the implementation of the Productivity Nexus which rides on the premise of sharing the economy’s best practices and being inspired by industry experts to further inspire the rest of the industry. The initiative is slated to involve 80 to 100 selected flagship
companies. There is no denying that digitalisation is the way of the future. Recognising this factor, the
Retail and F&B Productivity Nexus Champion Dato’ Bruce Lim reiterated, “The Productivity initiatives for Retail and F&B have included support for digitalisation of business operation and
honing e-commerce capabilities.”

“By strengthening the Retail and F&B players’ competencies as well as providing necessary assistance throughout this transformative journey, this sector will have the opportunity, backed up by the right skills, to expand internationally,” added Dato’ Bruce.
The flagship programs are divided into three areas; Retail Digitalisation Program, O2O Growth Venture Program, and Top Transformers. Led by the Malaysian E-Commerce Chairman Ganesh Kumar Bangah, the first flagship program centres on guiding and equipping selected brick and mortar retail business owners to understand, adapt and master the online revolution. This programme aims to attain sustainable growth as well as increase sales by taking their businesses online.

The O2O Growth Venture Program, helmed by Fave Founder Joel Neoh, emphasises on venturing into new online sales channel and business model to increase sales of businesses.
It also educates on the adoption of digital tools and consumer insights.
Meanwhile, the Top Transformers program is designed for leaders in Retailing and F&B who are tasked to manage people and deliver results regardless of ranking to produce a well-tuned working environment. The program, championed by PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd Group Chief Executive & Managing Director Dato’ Michael Tio, has kicked off in January and will
commence until March.

YB Dato’ Sri (Dr) Richard Riot expressed, “The time has come for our labour capital productivity to be further enhanced by embracing of the digital economy ecosystem. These
flagship programmes are all game-changers for the Retail and F&B industry as well as the people of Malaysia. I am truly pleased to see our nation on its way towards fully grasping the
possibilities the economy of the future holds for us.”

Productivity Nexus for the Retail and F&B industry is proudly supported by the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC); Economic Planning Unit (EPU); Prime Minister’s Department; Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism (KPDNKK); Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE); and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). This initiative is also slated to receive the support of Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF). Being a privately driven initiative, it is also in collaboration with Bumiputera Retailers
Organization (BRO); Malaysian m Franchise Association (MFA); Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA); and Malaysia Retailers Association (MRA).
Concurrently, K-Pintar has been appointed as the Project Manager and they will be tasked to measure the productivity levels of the participating companies while simultaneously
overseeing the entire project.

The one that I usually frequent is the one in 1Shamelin Mall Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

image

Now, the outlet is really huge and is segmented into a few sections, eg: Men and Women Clothings, Shoes, Bags, Accessories, Babies and Toddlers Clothing, Sports&Hobbies, Kitchen and Household Items and many more.

There are plenty of items being sold at a very cheap price but look for those items that’s being labeled as further markdown that is as low as RM1 and RM2. Trust me, you’ll find plenty of branded pre-loved treasures over there.

image

Onece you’ve picked out the clothing items that you had your eyes on, head over to the fitting room and try them out. Make sure that the clothings really fits you well. There’s no point buying clothing that does not fit as goods sold and not returnable. But remember, only bring 5 items at a maximum to try at the fitting room at one time. Be considerate to others who are also waiting in line to use the fitting room. Hogging the fitting room is a no no.

image

Buying shoes? There are loads of them over here at Jalan Jalan Japan. You may find shoes for people from all walks of life in different styles. A pair of it costs as little as RM5, but picking out a pair of shoes to buy can be quite a tricky affair. So, do spent some time to test them out and make sure they are really the right size for you. Walk down the aisle for a little to see if they’re comfortable before you decide to buy them.

image

Bag addicts will find it a real pleasure to shop over here at Jalan Jalan Japan. Assortment of bags eg: handbags, backpacks, slingbags etc are selling for as low as RM10.

image

If you are doing a top to toe fashion makeover, diversify your purchases with some interesting accessories. There are plenty of accessories like necklaces, earrings, bangles and sunglasses over here. Most of them just costs as little as RM2-RM6.

image

Wide varieties of kitchen and household items are offered here in Jalan Jalan Japan.

image

Japanese lacquer plates and bowls as well as bento boxes aplenty. Their price starts from as low as RM3.

image

Affordable kitchenwares are sold in abundance here in Jalan Jalan Japan, but do make sure they’re a suitable type and size for your stove before you decided to bring them home. And a gentle reminder for Muslims and strict Vegetarians, these cookwares and dining utensils might have been used to serve all sort of meats and non-Halal items. If you are a devout believers, do perform ‘samak’ or cleansing ritual prior usage.

image

Hobby and outdoor section is definitely something you must check out if you’re into sports and outdoor stuffs.

image

Sports items are dirt cheap in Jalan Jalan Japan.

image

Wide range of babies and children’s toys, gadgets and accessories are available for your pickings.

Some of the toys have choking hazards and whatnot, so please lick up those that’s suitable for your children’s age only.

image

Here’s a little hack for all you bargain hunters out there. Sort items out before checking out and making payment, and put back the items that you’re not purchasing at the place that they belonged.

A little pro-shopping tips at Jalan Jalan Japan for you for further reductions: Post a picture or video of your shopping experience with Jalan Jalan Japan and tag #hargagiler #jalanjalanjapan #jjj on your FB, instagram or YouTube, flash your posting to the cashier and get 5% off from your total bills. 5% off your total bills is really alot, I must say.

image

To make payment simply line up, be patient and don’t cut queue. Jalan Jalan Japan is a real hot spot for bargain hunters, especially on weekends and the queue can be quite long. It would be great if you have calculated your spendings beforehand when you were sorting out the items that you wanted and prepare exact change. It’ll help to speed up the payment process and queus will noticebly move along faster if everyone practices it.

100% Organic DIAMOND Sapindus Soap, Great for Teenagers and Adults

I’m a bit of a Grinch when it comes to holidays and festive season. I cannot stand the idleness and staying around not being productive, but if there’s one thing that I hate most about festive season is that I still need to meet up with friends and relatives and socialize around. More often than not, they are judgmental at just about everything, and critisizes me and my son from top to toe. It is usually on how we look; with him taking after me looking petite and malnourished and all that despite gobbling down his food like nobody’s business.

image

So this year, before I get involve in another one of those drama where people ask me why I look like this and why my son look like that and stuff, I’m gonna at least make us look flawlessly pretty and radiant, by using this 100% Organic Diamond Sapindus soap. While stupid gossips and criticism on my parenting skills won’t stop, at least people can’t tell me that my son and I look ugly and we need to do something about it.

image

100% Organic Diamond Sapindus soap was given to me by a friend to try. According to her, it works miracle on the skin, especially problematic and sensitive ones.

image

The soap features a PH 7.5, which is a bit alkaline and can be used from top to toe, including the intimate parts of the body.

image

The soap produces delicate foams that’s not only anti-bacterial, but anti-inflammatory as well.

image

The combination of top quality natural ingredients used in the making of this Diamond Sapindus soap not only help to eliminate body odor but also soothes and nourishes the skin. A bonus; it keeps the skin moisturized and has whitening effect.

image

Diamond Sapindus soap has no chemicals and is paraben free and therefore, safe to be used by teenagers as well. My son suffers from acne breakouts pretty often and regular soaps and bathgels that we got over the counter at the drugstores just doesn’t cut it. And so, I let him use this instead as a bath soap as well as a facial wash and it works wonder on his sensitive skin. The itch that he usually gets after a bath is now no more.

image

We use it as a shampoo as well and guess what? It works miracle in eliminating drandruffs for both of us.

Overall, we’re really happy with 100% Organic Diamond Sapindus soap and highly recommends the soap to those who not only want to cleanse their body from head to toe, but for those who wants to get rid of body odour and nourishes their skin in the gentlest way possible as well.

Hopefully the soap will help us look like we’re worth a million dollar soon and we’ll rock the festive season like a Korean star.

Halal Chinese New Year’s Feast at Utara Coffee House, Armada Hotel PJ

image

Looking for a Halal restaurant that is offering splendid Chinese New Year’s feast? Here’s one; Utara Coffee House, Armada Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant is located in the heart of Petaling Jaya and is a Halal Certified restaurant that is offering delightful feast for those who want to host their Chinese New Year’s reunion dinner with their multi-religious family and friends.

image

Here’s yours truly with her all time favourite chef, Chef Chew. Executive Chef Chew and team offers nothing but the most magnificent feast for this coming Chinese New Year and here’s sharing with you some of the delicious Chinese New Year’s dishes that I’ve given the privilege to sample:

image

Lousang with Tiger Prawns and Clams. The prawns were not only fresh, but sweetly fat and juicy as well. The combination of prawns and clams is definitely refreshing in comparison to the traditional Salmon slices toppings.

image

Prosperity Chinese New Year Hor d’oeuvres. This platter contains an assortment of delicious finger food that’s rather addictive.

image

Braised Seafood Broth with Dried Fish Roe& Crabmeat. One of my favourite dish in the set, I must say. The soup was abundant with meat and was richly flavoured.

image

Steamed Chicken with Ginger&Scallions. I’m not quite a fan of steamed chicken. The paleness and the simplicity of the meal is quite a turned off for me, but I took a bite of this regardless and was pleased to find that they’re not plain tasting as they usually taste. The steamed chicken has no funny smell whatsoever and was rather sweet. Good on it’s own or to be paired with plain rice.

image

Deep Fried Grouper with Onion and Ginger Gravy was not only adeptly fried, but was flavourful as well.

image

Chinese Assortment of Meaty Rice. This was on the top of my favourite list. The rice was packed with delicious meat like chicken sausage, chicken ham and beef bacon. Rather addictive and if you are watching your diet, I would recommend you to go easy on this as you can easily spoon one mouthful after another and by the time you realized what you’ve done, you could have already consumed a bowlful or two.

image

Braised Mushroom with Mustard Plant in Fatt Choy Sauce. I’m not a fan of vegetable dish and I usually give them a miss. But Chinese New Year’s vegetable dishes usually means good luck and prosperity and I’m all for good luck and prosperity and so I had some of this. The huge mushroom was the size of my palm and was on the meaty note. The mustard plant was sweetly crunchy while the brocollies were simply delicious, having soaked up all the fatt choy sauce. If this were laid on your table, I suggest you not to skip it. Not because I’m superstitious but because they are delicious.

image

Poon Choy is one of the CNY specialty that shouldn’t be missed. There’s all sort of delicious meat and seafood in it, guaranteed to make you feel rich.

image

Stir Fried Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk. This dish was exquisitely yummy and finger licking good. The prawn were so fresh and bouncy and I find myself wanting more than just one or two of it.

image

Sautéed Top Shell in Yam Savarin. I’m allergic to yam, so I gave this dish a miss in favour of desserts.

image

Mochi, Deep Fried Nian Gao and Chilled Sweet Apple with Gingko are some of the desserts offered to this year’s Chinese New Year’s feast, a must have if you want to end your meal with a sweet note.

image

The pricing for the feast is as shown in the promo poster.
